I. The order of the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:20-23)

1. Jesus is the first fruits of the resurrection.
   • Jesus is the first to be resurrected from the dead.
   • Jesus is the down payment for our resurrection.
   • Jesus is the champion of the resurrection.
2. He who was raised will raise us.
3. The resurrection of the dead

II. The purpose of the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:24-28)

1. Jesus defeats the final enemy.
2. ​Jesus hands the kingdom over to the Father.

III. The practicality of the resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:29-34)

1. Motivation to risk everything for Christ.
2. Motivation to live this life with significance and not for sin.
