I. Understanding the strategy of the enemy.

1. Satan has always used creation to pull us from the Creator. (Genesis 3:1-6)
   • Satan will always get you to focus on what you do not have instead of what you do have.
   • Satan will convince you that consequences are actually opportunities.
   • Satan wins when creation replaces the Creator.
2. A misunderstood view of strategy leads to a misguided view of creation.

II. Understanding a biblical relationship to the world.

1. We are to love the world. (John 3:16-17)
   • Love does not mean acceptance. (Romans 5:8)
   • Love is not isolation. (Matthew 5:13-16)
   • Love is willing to speak truth. (John 8:10-11)
2. We are to hate the world. (1 John 2:15)
