I. Jesus is the Word of God! (vs. 12)

1. The Word is our judge.
2. The Word is our corrector.

II. Jesus’ affirmation to us today. (vs. 13)

1. I know where you live.
2. I know you stand for me.

III. Jesus’ warning for us today. (vs.14-16)

1. Be careful who you listen to.
2. Realize that error in conduct is a result of error in teaching.
3. We must be willing to base our life on the Word and not the world.

IV. The promise to the faithful. (vs. 17)

1. The hidden manna.
2. The white stone.
3. Our new name.
