LUST: the craving of our undisciplined desires.

I. Lust will demand your allegiance. (Genesis 3:6)

1. Lust drives us to become our own moral agent.
2. The longer we look, the more we lust.
3. Lust drives us to dissatisfaction.

II. Lust will demand your life. (James 1:14-15)

1. It is our undisciplined desires that create an opportunity for sin.
2. The product of fulfilled lust is sin.
3. Our lust will eventually lead to our death.

III. Learning to discipline our desires.

1. Your satisfaction must be found in Jesus and not your desires.
2. Understand the sinful power of your flesh.
3. Bring your flesh under the submission of the Spirit

When we bring our flesh under the submission of the Spirit,
we will find ourselves desiring the things of God.
