“Managing Expectations with My Work”

(Ephesians 2:1-10)

I. Work was a part of God’s original plan. (Genesis 2:15)

1. He was placed.
2. He was to work and to watch.

II. Sin drastically and directly affects work. (Genesis 3:17-19)

1. The ground that Adam was given to care for has now became his curse.
2. The ground that Adam was given for life would demand his life.

III. We are recreated for good works. (Ephesians 2:10)

1. We are God’s masterpiece.
2. We have been recreated for good works.
3. God has planned our work.

IV. Keeping it real. (Colossians 3:22-25)

1. Work wholeheartedly.
2. Work enthusiastically.
3. Work with confidence.
