(Revelation 2:18-29)

I. Here comes the Judge! (vs. 18)

1. Jesus stands in authority.
2. Jesus comes with urgency.
3. Jesus stands with stability.

II. Jesus affirmation of the church. (vs. 19)

III. When truth gets distorted by love. (vs. 20)

1. When our love keeps us from doing the hard things.
2. When love causes us to protect the wrong things.

IV. When truth gets supported by love. (vs. 21-23)

1. Allow time for correction.
2. Correction must be thorough and complete.
3. Good judgement looks at motives that lead to actions.

V. The promise of Jesus, our leader. (vs. 25-29)

1. Hold on to what you got.
2. If you can’t lead here, you can’t lead in heaven. (Rev 20:6)
3. When we win, we get Jesus! (Rev 22:16)
