(Nehemiah 8:1-12)
I. The Torah must become more important than the temple. (vs. 1)
II. Our experience with God’s word will be directly related to our reverence of God’s word. (vs. 2-6)
- The word of God is inspired.
- The word of God is inerrant.
- The word of God is infallible.
III. God’s desire is not just for us to hear the word, but to understand the word. (vs.7-8)
IV. Life change happens when we understand God’s word. (vs. 9-12)
